Suboxone film slippiong over the tongue Most of the time when I take the suboxone films, the film will end up slipping up over the top of my tongue. I don't think I'm lifting my tongue properly before placing the film. Just wondering if I am still getting absorption into me and by how much percentage. As a precaution, I've been taking some oxy every day because of this but do I really need to be doing so? Please help if you can. I have heard you can place it at the roof of your mouth ( hard gums), that it will work that way too. True? |
I've not taken subs although I've had other sublingual meds - you take it under the tongue - then you hold it in place with your tongue til it dissolves. I'm not sure how it slips out from there? I'd go ask my dr for advice - he might be able to prescribe a form you can take more easily? I understand wanting to be sure you won't feel poorly but taking oxys seems to defeat the purpose to me. My doctor told me I could put film inside cheek....seem to work OK, but I do think under the tongue worked more effectively. |
