Methadone sucks

Yes it stops ... I'm 16 months of now and completely back to normal..
I was on methadone for over 25 years.
I will say it was strange for the first few months sorting through my thoughts and getting organised in my brain ...
I had lots of fanciful idears .....I was told not to make eny big decisions
For 12 months and I'm glade now I didn't......
Every one says this and it's true I feel alive for the first time in my life
Just standing at the front door looking at the sky brings wounder and joy
I love being free and feel free .
Mindfulness did for me this time . Recognising when I'm beating my self up pushing my thoughts back to better things
Now it comes naturally most of time ...
I've found to change myself I had to change my thinking and it works
I didn't know angziaty is the same emotion ass excitement..
And I'm excited all the time ...
Stick with it ....
