That's so funny Ann, that little dog is full of the joys of spring, never mind winter. x

Love is saying, ‘I feel differently’ instead of ‘you’re wrong.’

Joy is something I try to find each and every day. No matter what the weather, or what the circumstance, there is always joy in there somewhere. So I am going to stick to a joy theme here for a few days, and share it with anyone who needs a little in their life.

Starting with one of my favourite poems...

Joy
Rabindranath Tagore

And Joy is Everywhere;
It is in the Earth's green covering of grass;
In the blue serenity of the Sky;
In the reckless exuberance of Spring;
In the severe abstinence of grey Winter;
In the Living flesh that animates our bodily frame;
In the perfect poise of the Human figure, noble and upright;
In Living;
In the exercise of all our powers;
In the acquisition of Knowledge;
in fighting evils...
Joy is there
Everywhere.

That's a good attitude to have Ann and you are so right, there is joy to be found in everything if you just open your eyes and look. I just love that poem and the little video clip, so heartwarming. Thank you. xxx

To continue with Ann's theme..

Perception. ..

Daisy, I am reading (for the second time) Wayne Dyer's "There's a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem" and am at a part that includes what you posted today. I need to pay heed when these readings poke me in the ribs.

This is a link to his website (he died a few years back) and I hope it is okay to post it here because there are many free downloads of his inspirational talks and quotes which are relevant to each of us.

More joy....

My favourite flashmob, Ode to Joy. It starts out quite solemn but watch the joy grow as the crowd joins in.

Thank you Ann, I shall have a look at your link at some point today. It's strange how we do get poked in the ribs at times by the readings, I think we are meant to take heed.
I've seen the video clip before and it is truly awe inspiring, I love it. Thank you. x

I have that same problem whenever I watch it, bim. Even now that I wear glasses for all computer work, I still always seem to get something in my eye...

It is just SO beautiful.

And I must confess to never having listened to or read Wayne Dyer, even though I'm familiar w/the name. I find that I have some unexpected time to myself these next several days, so I'll check into that site and do some listening.

Oh yes, HP, do listen to some of the videos. I heard him speak several years ago now, on PBS I think, and I was mesmerized from the beginning and ended up listening all the way through.

I like his books because even after I have read them, I can open them anywhere and get inspired.

I promise you won't regret getting to know him.
