Grateful for and in awe of Zippy’s 17 years!
Grateful for Daisy’s family who work for NHS and for the moving round of applause.
Grateful Deserto is back!
Grateful to read a meme that helped me feel a little better about not really having much time or energy to direct academic focus around here. Basically just said focus more on connection than on fighting over a particular assignment.
Grateful to sleep in although I can’t believe what a late start I am getting to everything.
Grateful to be finding recipes to use stuff up that we already have in our house. Will be even more grateful if I actually make the darn things!
Grateful to try to make hand sanitizer with my son—and realize not only are we not good at it (or that this was not a very good recipe) but also how disgusting alcohol smells.
Grateful we have free weights.
Grateful I did a quick zoom coffee session with some mom friends. Invariably one of them makes me mad because they operate from a theoretical/external perspective about my agency, which is sometimes short on the realistic challenges of actually doing the work—but it was still fun.
Grateful rain is coming. I think
Grateful for another day to be a kinder version of the self I was yesterday.
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful for SR.

It's great to see you Deserto -- I loved the post-- the image of the menagerie bursting out in springtime.

Grateful for the rain today.
Grateful my headache seems much less than it was yesterday. Thank you Daisy. I think your good vibes helped. ♥
Grateful to be in good health. Grateful this too shall pass, the virus. I hope it passes very soon. Just about everything is closed. I guess I don't have an excuse to avoid my vacuuming today. .
Grateful for those of you posting. Your posts are so uplifting and helpful.
Stay safe and you are loved.

Daisy - That was a lovely tribute to the brave health care workers.
PalmerSage - Thanks for the exercise reminder. I'm going to be rotund due to inactivity & snacking. That just adds to our anxiety.
RZ - 17 years - how wonderful - so very glad to be on this journey with you.
Aly - I hope your pain will subside & stay away!
Deserto! Wanted to know about your woman, but didn't want to pry. I love the update. Glad the pets get along.
Grateful to come here & read some cheer & humor. Been feeling a bit uneasy - must stay upbeat.
Grateful we know an end to this will come.
Grateful that for the most part people are behaving rationally - being helpful, determined, & strong.
Grateful for everyone here, & all your wisdom.

Hev, I hope your uneasy feeling passes. Know that you are not alone
Aly, so glad your headache is subsiding. I am vacuuming today too
Daisy, glad you made contact with your bro
Deserto, lol. My husband is the same way. He is such an introvert. He’s actually enjoying this distancing time. Glad you are able to be with your lady friend during this time
Numblady, have fun with the hand sanitizer. When people first started making their own, I could not find alcohol or aloe Vera or hydrogen peroxide. So I made some with witch hazel. I wanted it to smell nice too so I add some perfume drops to it (doesn’t perfume have alcohol too?) but as the ingredients settled together I discovered too late that there’s just a bit too much perfume. Also found out that witch hazel isn’t a good alternative as an antiviral/disinfectant. Oh well. At least it’s better than nothing and I smell nice 😊
Grateful my Dads groceries I ordered last week finally got delivered. He was so happy!
Grateful to be planning later today a Zoom happy hour with girlfriends (tea for me of course) and a Zoom dinner and game of Cards Against Humanity with our closest friends. The kids will go off and FT and online Minecraft
Grateful the rain is saturating the ground as we are going to be pounding some solar lights into the yard. The ground is not soft in those spots
Grateful to paint some this weekend
Grateful for each of you

Grateful for the internet and able to keep in touch with SR.
Grateful for coffee and food supplies. (And food for the cats! Woe betide me if there was no cat food!)

Grateful to be sober and present on a Sunday morning.
Grateful I remembered to put our clocks forward ( U.K springing forward.)
Grateful the sun is shining out there even though its cold.
Grateful for a good nights sleep, I hardly had any the night before.
Grateful I managed to buy a few plants for the garden yesterday, I will plant them today.
Grateful to feel well.
Grateful my family is well.
Grateful that my lovely daughter, her partner and my 2 beautiful g.children cycled over last night and left a pack of nappies on my door step for my step g.daughter's baby. We could talk and wave from a good distance away and it was so hard not to be able to hug the children and stroke my g.daughter's beautiful hair, broke my heart really but I wouldn't let them see that. I know it's all for our own good and it won't be for ever and we're luckier than some.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful I have enough food in for now.
Grateful to manage to order a trampoline for g.son, it was hard to find one as they are in great demand at the minute, but find one I did, it should be with us in the next couple of weeks. G.son is seriously hyper and driving me nuts, lol, now he has no karate, rugby or running he's bounding about like a demented kangaroo. He needs something to burn his energy up.
Grateful for the Internet, fingers crossed I'm on a roll with it at the minute because it's been very intermittent.
Grateful for my friends who live in the computer.
Grateful for our wonderful N.H.S and all the key workers.
Grateful Aly's headache is on the mend.
Grateful, like Hevyn to come here and read, I'm a little uneasy too at the min, worried about my mum and my brother. I know we're all uneasy, we'll get through this.
Grateful to read about Fearless's home made sanitizer, I made some too and it stinks. Mine is half dettol and half a child's body wash. It smells very dettolly!
Grateful N.C18 and Mags are part of the grat pack.
Grateful that we're in this together. xx
