Happy birthday Wisc!

Glad you are feeling a bit better Imvalentine. Yes, true story. People are doing ridiculous things like licking cans of food on the shelf. Maybe these types will be housebound soon and stop damaging food and people.

We had to tape the floor in six foot intervals to mark proper social distancing at the check outs. Everyday, it's something new and hopefully helpful.

Have a good day all!

HaPpY bIrThDaY wIsCsObEr!!!

I was shopping today. The unfortunate thing was the single line formed for the multiple registers wound right up along the wall of coolers for eggs, milk, cheese and such. Which caused a traffic jam of people trying to get goods and others trying to keep their place in line. So much for social distancing. They did have the floor tape at the registers and sneeze shields.

Also, I saw a family today, Mom, Dad, Big sister in her 20's at least and three little ones running wild. I wish that at least one of the adults could've stayed home with the little ones.

thank you all for birthday wishes...it was very low keyed....talked with my middle sister which is always pleasant. Processing BIL death. My eldest sister has a lot of support.

Haven't been to the store since Tuesday....but I have plenty of food and toiletries.

Rainy day....motivated a bit for housecleaning....

no urges no cravings dedicating at least one hour to something recovery orientated.

Stay safe and healthy everyone, Gregory

Up at 6:30 for work later on this morning. We are getting the all day rain storm that everyone got earlier this week. It will be interesting to see if folks are happy standing in line in this weather.

Have a good day all!

Up at 6:30 am

I was appreciating the mild weather yesterday when standing in line. Interesting tho, one of the other big grocery stores down the road was not doing the line up thing.

Happy belated Birthday Wiscober!
At some point this weekend I must brave Trader Joe’s.
Last time I went they were really doing a great organized approach to safety.
Limiting the amount of people in the store, hand sanitizers and disinfecting the
baskets and carts.
I saw people zoning out on distancing and touching things randomly. Old habits die hard as we know.
Grateful to those working in a public setting and keeping things going.

I must admit I licked my thumb tip when trying to open the veggie/fruit plastic bag...out of habit...I didn't purposely touch anything and used my other hand....but it def. is a habit to be broken.

It is so very difficult to open those little plastic bags! One store had hand wipes so I kept mine to wet my fingers on. Other stores only had the liquid sanitizer...
