Key Lime is my absolute FAVORITE. Strawberry-Rhubarb is next.

(now I really want pie)

And, if I do eat cake, I want it to be exactly the one pictured. I don't really care for traditional frosting. Give me whipped cream and fruit every time.

Sending positive vibes your way Leigh. That's good news from the dermatologist.

I think it hit 33 or 34 C today (low to mid 90's F) which is bearable for a desk jockey like me. I slept surprisingly well last night but tonight could be even warmer.

If it wasn't so hot I would be on my way to buy cake, pie or anything, so much yummy looking temptation. No air conditioning in the car is stopping me. At least for now...
I must be less addicted to sugar than I thought as I would of walked miles in any weather to buy alcohol.

I didn't sleep well. Heat, storms and panting dogs did not make a restful night. In fact it was awful, felt almost hungover all day.

Been to my therapy group this afternoon. Still not finding I can share my deep emotional stuff. Too painful to have it tossed around a room full of strangers. I listen to others and offer support if I can.

Kaily, it’s not easy sharing with a bunch of strangers. It takes a while to sort of get to trust them, if you know what I mean. I’m sure it will work out eventually.

Saou, are you allowed to wear long shorts or cut off trousers for work? Certainly need them this weather.

Leigh, oh, I have so missed your pies. . I’ll have a small slice please of both? Oh go on then, I don’t mind if I do! I’m pleased you have some good news on the health front.

Leigh, I got one of the frozen water bottles out the freezer, put it in a plastic back then in a pillow case, not to rest my head, it’s be like sleeping on a brick, but to cool the bed down, hopefully.

It’s still 26C (78.8F) outside, it’s cooled down a bit but still hot, for my paler than milk bottle white skin!

Thanks Mags.

I am really pale/white as well. Absolutely no sign of a tan, just a bit of prickly heat from being in the car today. I used to fake it but not bothered anymore!

I am and I will be Mags. We are quiet at this time every year and especially this year when business isn't great. My youngest daughter used to work here during the summer holidays on an embroidering machine and one year, when she was 16 or 17 on a hot day she turned up in a bikini. I wasn't best pleased as we are about 2:1 men to women but I expect the guys approved. I insisted she wore shorts after that.

According to Britain's Met Office there is a 50% chance it could hit 39C or 103F tomorrow in or around London which would make it the hottest day ever recorded. You can have too much of a good thing.

That’s hot! That’s even hot for us Aussies. Take care in the heat everyone.
I want key lime pie too now.....
Leigh I’m so glad it’s good news from the doc.
I’ve been busy working this week but today is quiet, unless I get called in to work.
I’m loving working casual hours, it’s suiting me so much better

Took this on my early walk this morning. Family of swans, Dad leading the way.

Couldn't get any closer as my dog wanted to eat them!
