Back from detox again
Well here I am posting yet again after a story my and in the hospital Going through another detox. Had a bad two Day bender that really set me back. I’m 50 years old and really can’t do this any longer. Luckily this time I was able to get back on my feet and only missed a few days of work. The detox process in hospital really did the trick for me. Gave me Ativan and memory to help with the detox process. Now I am back home and me to figure out hey mu game plan because other One wasn’t working. I need to figure out something soon to save my life.

Starting to call in sick to work more frequently due to alcohol was yet another factor that led me to seek help. I could see where things were going. I think a person can only be a "functional" alcoholic for so long. It catches up to you eventually. You made it over a decade longer than me. I don't know your history or if you've considered any sort of treatment?

Was the plan flawed?
Or your execution of it?
Welcome back Dave
I gotta admit looking back at your plan you put a lot of effort into it and seemed to have the bases covered.
Of course a plan is only as good as the amount of action we put into it.
what happened?

Welcome back, and I'm glad you're okay.
I think that your plan sounded good and still does. But, it's the action part that's tricky. Taking action every day and seeing that you are progressing is the best thing you can do.
