Hi Guys
Hiya Badge & C Clarity.
Good to hear from you both.
To be honest I'd begun to think that this little class of ours had dwindled to silence, like the sound of one hand clapping.
I'm glad youre both still here although its been a good few days since I checked.
I hope Soul, LuLu and everyone else is good.
We are all at or close to 6 months now.
This place and this group really helped get me here.
I'll always be grateful.
V

Warmer weather....
Hiya Badge,
I live in the UK so apart from the fact that it can rain on any given day and at a moments notice, we actually do benefit from a mild & temperate climate. We had some 5 below zero a couple of weeks ago ( on the Celsius scale) and in the heights of Summer it would rarely go above 25.
I’ve mentioned on here that I’m restoring an old farmhouse a couple of hundred miles from where I live. It’s a bit of a labour of love. I expect to have it habitable early in the Summer but still with lots to do.
My hope is that I can entice friends and family there for long weekends from June onwards and trade food and accommodation for a little bit of painting, decorating and gardening.
Do you have plans?
Do you normally go off somewhere exotic? How do you think your Summer will be different this year as a Happy Sober Person??

Hello all!
SV- l am enjoying the mental picture of your old farmhouse, does it have a huge covered porch with old growth trees everywhere? It does in my vision anyway! That reminds me of the old bow saw I was going to refurbish over the winter,,, not sure why I didnt,,,
We have a big family camp out planned for the end of May, my best friend and her husband will be there. Campfires and S'mores, fishing and hiking are in the plans. Also another camping week in August. otherwise sticking around home, getting the boat out when we can. If the fishing gods shine on me will get some Halibut fishing in this June, weather depending.
This is traditionally my drinking season so my AV is trying its best, the family camping will not be to hard to get through since if I don't bring the wine, there will not be any for me to drink, but I find drinking is more and more on my mind. Thankfully my Recovery Voice is now much stronger than my Addictive Voice and drowns the little sh*t out and away!
Soul, Ready45, CC, hope everyone is doing well!
