Like others have already said above, it doesn’t matter that much whether you call yourself an alcoholic or not. The real question is, does alcohol drag you down or not, and if it does, you need to quit.

Thanks everyone for your responses. It was more of a rhetorical question. I know alcohol is and always will be a problem for me.

Happy to report I'm a week today :-D
I think I stopped before if caused too much damage. I have never felt so good. So far no cravings or urges. Sleeping the best I have all year and loving being naturally tired at night and not pass out drunk tires.
