Exercise yesterday was walking a few miles, including a couple to meet a friend for breakfast. Today didn't start off as well. When you fall down your front steps at 4:40 AM while going to the sidewalk to get the newspaper, break part of the nail on a big toe and skin both your knees, you can only hope that it's not a harbinger of what lies ahead for the day. Fortunately it doesn't seem to be, but I look like a little kid with band aids on both knees. After cleaning up my act I was at the gym for four rounds of:

Db squat presses
Db two point rows
Db reverse lunges
TRX table top rows
Up downs
Db Turkish get ups
Db Russian twists

Dinner tonight is going to be baked pork chops with a side salad.

Two circuits of four rounds of:

First:

Db 2 arm squat presses
Up downs
Lateral box runs
Kb farmers walk

Then:

Pushups
Db single arm squat presses
Heavy ropes with a jump
TRX rows

And because that wasn't enough fun we did plank variations.

No cooking tonight because it's my son's b'day and we're going out to dinner.

I went out for a two mile run this morning before the weather got nasty. Another day of highs near 90F, high humidity, and intermittent rain and thunderstorms. Meh.

We spent almost three hours at dinner last night and while we couldn't sit outside overlooking the lake we had a window table, floor to ceiling windows, and were able to have a fine view of the lightening show that Mother Nature put on. I have some ideas for tonight's dinner, but will hold off making a decision until I know how many of us will be around the table.

Per my normal schedule I exercised all three days since my last post. I lifted everyday and twice went for a run. Today's fun was three rounds of:

Standing Db presses
Lat pulldowns
Push ups
Standing Db front raises
Standing Db lateral raises
Standing Db bent over raises
Standing Bb curls
Db bench rows

Dinner Friday was pork chops with a salad, we went to a cookout on Saturday, and last night we went out for ice cream for dinner. That is not a typo. I had a cup the size of my head finished it. Dinner tonight is going to be seared shrimp with pesto using basil from our garden and I'm going to spiralize a zucchini from our garden as the side.

I did some walking to take care of some errands this AM. Nothing too taxing, but I came home a sweaty mess due to the weather.

Dinner tonight is going to be crab cakes and a salad.

A very mediocre performance at the gym this morning. Redemption will come tomorrow. Three rounds of:

Glider mountain climbers
Db floor chest presses
Db reverse lunge shoulder presses
Squat touchdowns on a riser
Push ups
Standing Db curls
TRX table top rows

Sort of last minute-ish nobody was going to be home for dinner last night so the crab cakes and salad will be served tonight.

Many rounds of two circuits of four exercises each, pretty much hitting all body parts.

No cooking tonight because we're going to a wedding.

Lots of fun at the wedding last night with some added exercise via dancing.

Dinner tonight is going to be a mix of chicken thighs and shrimp served over a spring mix salad that will include some things from our garden.
