Understanding forum 'lingo'
Understanding forum 'lingo'
Could one of the mods, or anyone else for that matter, post 'translations' of forum lingo, like "lol" for "laugh out loud", "btw" for "by the way", "fwiw" for "for what it's worth". Like that. A guide to understanding online forum language, shortcuts and abbreviations.
I'm learning every day, but when I first got my computer five years ago I had no idea what all that funny "computer language" meant. I have lots yet to learn and think the 'translations' would be helpful to people like me, along with newcomers, some new to computers as well as recovery.
Thanks to anyone who can help out with this. Just post any info you can share in this thread, thanks!
