Which book

Which book should I buy? There's quite a few AVRT on Amazon. I'm assuming one by Jack Trimpey is where I need to start

This is probably the book you want to purchase. It is the mass market version that first set forth AVRT in 1996, and is very inexpensive. It is an update to The Final Fix: AVRT, which was a self-published version from 1994.

Rational Recovery: The New Cure for Substance Addiction by Jack Trimpey

ISBN-10: 0671528580
ISBN-13: 978-0671528584

You should also check out the free "Crash Course on AVRT" at the Rational Recovery web site - rational.org. It is short and to the point.

The Art of AVRT is a self-published book from 2010 that has some interesting updates, but is not as comprehensive as RR: The New Cure, in my opinion. I believe that there will soon be a new mass market paperback book out from RR, but only time will tell.

There is also a long-running AVRT discussion thread on this forum, going back to 2011, which is worth reading from the very beginning.
