Starting Over
 

I had 2 years sober using AVRT. Apparently there was a flaw in my Big Plan and for the last year I have been drinking again. I am ready to start over. Just thought I would say hi.

Don't forget the two years. Thats already a great achievement. If you managed that anything is possible.

Hi - staying always present, for me, works. Even when life events are really difficult. A few deep breaths and a good read can move me forward. Hope springs eternal! Not sure who wrote that...

Well for one as to what I will do different is I needed to add the.... And Never Change My Mind Part. I am a bit aggravated today. In the middle of moving, high stress job and just kinda Uugghh!!!! However, the Beast is playing a few mind games too so I am recognizing it for what it is and trying to stay positive. However, I am not afraid.

Today was ok. Friday's and Saturdays are always kinda rough because I was more the weekend warrior type. Off to bed tomorrow is another day. �� Thanks to you all for the kind words.... JF

Good going, JustFine, and I'm glad to see you posting here! Moving can be really stressful ... feel free to lean on us for support. :grouphug:

Moving is stressful and I'm moving in with my long term boyfriend to save money to buy a house so....... I'm not crazy about his "bachelor pad" to begin with. My apartment is beautiful but I don't want to be renting forever. Staying optimistic about it!!!! Trying to remember everything is temporary and it will be worth it in the long run.
Oh and I guess I have a week sober today!!!! Not much compared to years but the past is the past. I chose to pick it back up and I am choosing to take my power back. It is what it is.

Welcome Just Fine!!

Just found 4 coronas in my fridge. I never drink now right.... Then why is the damn beast just screaming in my ear have one. Have all of them....then have some more!!!!! Uuuuggghhhh
