Went to my 1st SMART meeting tonight
 

I really enjoyed it. The group was small - maybe 8 of us. Everyone shared how their week went. It was a really great group of supportive people. It was nice to meet people in person that understand where I am right now. I'm definitely going back. I also loved the secular, and self-empowering approach. It felt right and comfortable.

I may also try a local Agnostic AA group, just to see how that goes as well. I also like the concept of the Addictive Voice - I see myself using the tools of multiple secular approaches to achieve long term sobriety and rebuild my life.

Tomorrow is Day 2.
