I liked the article and think it is very pertinent to discussions about recovery. Boredom is a word that comes up repeatedly on this site. I think it might do more good to post these thoughts in the newcomers section, so that's what I'm going to do. This is the quote prompted me to respond. "it would be wiser to question whether there are more serious, long-term issues that are causing us to feel disengaged. His work, for instance, has shown that priming people to feel their lives have a greater purpose and meaning tends to make them less bored" |
