Apart from addiction / alcohol literature - what else did you read in early sobriety?

Hello folks

As the title really - I've been reading stuff on anger management, mindfulness and noodling around all sorts of web sites.

Just wondering if there was anything that struck a chord with you and helped you in the early days and onwards that you'd recommend?

Hi Hendrix

Here are a couple of my Favs

"When things fall apart" by Pema Chodron
"Powerless no Longer" Peter Soderman
"Mistakes Were Made (But Not by Me)" by Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson
"Waking Up" by Sam Harris

Escapist literature: sci-fi, murder mysteries, biography, fantasy. Anything to divert and pleasure my unquiet mind. Self help books bore me.

Edit: And MAD magazine, naturally. What me worry?
