A paradox.
I didn't intentionally quit on Veterans Day 2014; it just sort of happened that way. And to add to its significant, I did a 5-year stint in the Army after high school. So this stake in the ground will always be easy to remember.
However, geek that I am, I downloaded an app that I can always open to find out exactly how many days it's been (16 days). I'll let the iPhone do the counting, while I do the living.
That's my plan, and I'm sticking to it.
