The unbelievers

I just watched this on netflix streaming. Good stuff. I'm not a "joiner" nor do I wish to belong to a group of any kind, but his (Richard Dawkins) foundation is pretty active. I find it all fascinating.

I've read alot of Dawkins, like his stuff on genetics and evolution.
The foundation on the other hand ... lets just say don't let on you are even slightly sympathetic to the 'deniers', huge enviro humanists , they won't let me play there anymore, pick one fight with a paleo/planet scientist guy and no more posting privileges

Richard Dawkins has written some great books, always thought provoking!! :)

dwtbd, yeah, I can imagine there are radicals in every kind of group imaginable. That may be one of the reasons I fit into the 'none of the above' category. I yam what I yam.
I don't need to organize and have rules associated with just being me. And you (anyone) can be whatever you wish as far as I'm concerned. Just don't try to force it upon me and we'll get along just fine thank you.

Big fan of Dawkins, Krauss, Harris. Miss Hitch though - irreplaceable. ;)

..and if you take an acre of old growth rainforest and turn it into grazing land, or cropland after say fifty years which would be a net gainer on carbon lock-up(assuming carbon lockup was attainable or warranted)? Not saying I know how to do the maths here, but it is at least a valid question right ?

Agreed! I'm a fan of the 'Four Horseman of Atheism' (ie Dennett, Hawkins, Harris and Hitchens) but as a writer Hitch was always my favorite. God is Not Great is one of my very favorite books.
