Guess What?
 

Today, August 27, 2013 I celebrate 1 year sober. I don't have an overly celebratory sensation, but it does feel good to share that milestone here where I started my sober journey.

Being a non drinker is just who I am, so celebrating a milestone for that is a little odd. I was telling a friend today, I don't celebrate my annual anniversary of walking, or the day I became a college graduate. I just walk and I just use my education (occasionally ;-)

I don't want to minimize anyone's struggle, but honestly, other than a few bad, uncertain times in the first couple months and then maybe one real beastly scare, it wasn't that hard.

AVRT was sent to me by God, Himself. I know it, He knows it!

I don't drink, and I am never changing my mind. You too can be a non drinker for life - make that Big Plan and from that moment on, shut that beast down every time it asks for attention. Done.
