book recommendation for secular ppl

Coming Clean - Google Books

Details how successful recovery can happen without recourse to formal recovery programs. I think this book is probably a 'must read' for most people here in Secular Connections.

Someone here, and I cannot for the life of me remember on which part of the forum, recommended a book called Waiting: A Nonbeliever's Higher Power, by Marya Hornbacher. I started reading this a few days ago and it seems as if it might be pretty darn good.

You can certainly google it and find reviews and information on your own, but I wanted to give it 2 thumbs up from this F&F member.

Hope someone finds it helpful.

"Brain over Binge," by Kathryn Hansen. It's AVRT applied to an eating disorder, in her case bulimia.
