The electricity went off at work today. Heavy winds, transformer down or something of the such. Anyway, I couldn't get much done, so went home. Wanted to get some yard work in but, just been raining non-stop. The wife is doing bingo at the school today. I thought it was later, but she didn't come home. She has the kids with her, so the must have pizza or something there.
The old me would be passed out by now or at least seriously on the way to it. I probably would have tried the yard work too though, lol. What a difference a year or so makes. If I wasn't reading through here today, I probably wouldn't even have thought about what I would have done, with such a “free opportunity”.

I really hope my husband replaces the kitchen faucet today. It's been broken for six months and there's always such ROADBLOCKS in his way to fixing the problem. It's raining. Barcelona is playing Real Madrid. It's sunny. There's no soccer games on and that's sad.
When you turn on the sink water shoots EVERYWHERE and then it finds its way under the sink and some real damage is being done under there.
He fixes everything at his BROTHER'S house post haste.
Really hope I go home to find a new facuet!

Yesterday we went to the Detroit Institute of Arts and then the African American Museum with my wife's brother and his family. They have a Picaso on loan from France at the DIA and I'd never been through most of the exhibits at the African American Museum. There is BBQ place down town we tried to get in at but the wait was like 2 hours. That's a bit much anytime, but with kids that have just spent all day at museums, FORGET IT. Went to Hard Rock Cafe instead. Not my favorite, but no wait and you gotta eat. All an all a pretty good day. Can't wait for the weather to turn here. Was sunny but cold still on weekend.
