My 1 Year Anniversary! AV joining the party
Hi - I made it to 12 months on Tuesday and celebrated with a nice cup of tea. AV popped up like a Jack-in-th-Box congratulating me and suggesting I buy a really good bottle of champagne to celebrate. I told it to bugger off.
Here are the things I've missed out on this year:
Waking up disgusted with myself, feeling off-colour
Paying out approx. $50 a week at the bottle shop
Staying in because I'd rather drink than go out in the evening
Chancing hurting other people when I drove
Binge eating
Setting a bad example to my adult children
But I think the biggest thing in my life this year has been the awesome people on SR, their stories, their insight and their wisdom. I have learned so much and I apply it in all parts of my life.

I love your screen name, I think it says a lot about a person's subconscious. You are FeelingGreat...and you are feeling great! Ha. Congrats, I hope to have the strength to join the one-year club when my time arises. Until then I continue to look up to people like you for inspiration. Thank you for sharing and congrats!
