Kate and Charlie are a young married couple whose bond is built on a mutual love of music, laughter and drinking- especially the drinking. When Kate's drinking leads her to dangerous places and her job as a school teacher is put into jeopardy, she decides to join AA and get sober. Sobriety isn't as easy as Kate had anticipated. Her new lifestyle brings to the surface a troubling relationship with her mother, facing the lies she's told her employer and calls into question whether or not her relationship with Charlie is built on love or is just boozy diversion from adulthood.

Aaron Paul's role as her husband makes me curious to see the movie.

I can't wait to have an opportunity to watch it. I couldn't find when it will be available though. I watched the interview with the director on YouTube - it sounds like they are trying to really capture the reality of sobriety for folks who haven't really hit a skid row type rock bottom. Intrigued.

Aaron Paul and Octavia Spencer. Yes please.

I heard about this movie on NPR when they interviewed the director.
He wrote the script with his good friend Susan Burke who is a comedian in LA and is now sober.
It started by sharing stories of funny dumb things they had done when they were drunk. Hers topped his, in fact hers topped everyones.
They thought most films don't deal with the subject of substance abuse in a way that is funny, relatable and also a movie that you would want to see

I want to watch this right now. Will it be in more theaters or will I have to wait until it's on dvd?
