NLP - any good for overcoming addiction?
 

Does anyone know of any successful neurolinguistic programming techniques/programmes that don't involve hypnosis that can work to help alcoholics? Is Alan Carr NLP? My ABF is about to move out and went to AA meetings but didn't like the steps - I know he needs to get the help, not me, but i just wondered about different options.

There are many wonderful secular programs. I find SMART Recovery to be extremely helpful. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Allen Carr isn't NLP but his book is great. Look into AVRT too x
