Wow my Beast is a major A-hole...

My wife is pregnant and scheduled to be induced tomorrow. Right then and there my Beast pointed out something to me. This is what it said...

"So, you know that tomorrow night, you will most likely be home alone since your wife will still be at the hospital, as well as your newborn daughter. It will be a time to celebrate! You deserve a drink. Three weeks sober is a long time, perhaps you don't have an addiction at all?"

This really made me laugh because I was thinking what a tremendous d*ick my beast was. Trying to take advantage of this situation to its fullest. Anyway, I thought I would share. This was one of the first time's I caught my beast red handed.

How about be at the hospital with her?

I love it!

Yeah, your beast is not at all nice. Imagine the warm and fuzzy feelings you'd have every year at your kid's birthday when you get to remember being blotto, at home, alone, on the night she was born.

The big plus is, the self-loating would give you another reason to drink. Ka-ching!

Good for you in staring it down.

Best wishes.

yeah I thought about that, but I have to get my son to school the next day. I have a sitter for him tomorrow but not Wednesday.

I am developing a whole herd of beasts. I have my alcohol beast and my nicotine beast and my sugar beast.

I'm starting my own zoo. :)

Good job handling the AV.

The devil is lurking in many people, places
and things, disguising itself in so many forms.
CUNNING BAFFLING POWERFUL as it preys
upong the weak, strong, caring, old, young,
you name it. And does it care, hell no, because
that is his job.

A recovery program to wear as my coat or
dress of armour prepared to protect my
sobriety each day and have for the past 21
years.

Whatever it takes, whatever lengths I need
to go in order to enjoy the promises offered
to us in recovery to live happy, joyous and free
for years to come.

It can be for you too. :c014:
