social group

I've taken Dees suggestion and created a social group...since none of us are in a formal program it is almost impossible to know when we are raising topics which fall outside of the parameters of this section.

Please explain, how is a "social group" different? I've not heard the term and am just curious!

Down at the bottom of the forum's list you can find "User-Created Social Groups".

Read the following and all shall be clear...

http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...ee-speech.html

(LaFemme and I were working on the same solution independently of each other).

Murray created one at the same time so please go there...I will put a direct link in tomorrow. The social groups are just another section of the forum...closer to the bottom of the menu. There are no restrictions on what we can discuss there so we wont need to self censor in order to prevent being closed down...conversely we will have no protection should someone want to come in and tell us we are all doing sobriety wrong.

There is a way to have a group that is by invitation only (private). Same SR rules apply but with selected members there will be greater harmony...so less grievances and conflict.

Click me to create such a group here at SR.

Its from the book, 'Oh the places you will go' by Dr Seuss.

I get more from his books as an adult than I did as a child!!!

I'll post the whole thing over in the 'inspirations, thoughts, and sayings' forum now
