My new job
My new job
Okay, Cali, here's an update.
I like the people at this place. I haven't been able to do much because they can't put me on the phones yet, but I'm hoping that will change really soon. I'm itching to do something...I want to hop right in and start making some sales.
It's nice working around people who have their stuff together. It's the kind of job one is expected to show up and work...not like fast food. I know I've only been there for two days...but so far no drama. There's always drama in food service...it's unavoidable and completely ridiculous.
I have no doubt I made the right decision quitting my job at the time I did. A lot of people 'hounded' me about not finding a job before I quit. I know I did everything the way I needed to do it. Shoot, I'm still sober and my mental health has improved, and my mood got an incredible boost when I got confirmation that I landed this job. I strongly I believe I saved my sobriety because I quit my previous job.
It's amazing what a few changes can do.

Thanks for the update Bam. It DOES sound good! I thrive on good news, so I'm thoroughly pleased for you. I've no doubt that soon the change you're hoping for will come about and you'll be one of the best in sales!
