I will not drink/drug today because (insert your reason)
 

I can manage my difficulties clean/sober whereas drinking/drugging create problems that are impossible to manage.

I will not drink today because I spent the day at a funeral of a childhood friend and active alcoholic who aspirated on his own vomit while he was passed out. He was 37 years old.

I'll post the sorrid story somewhere on this site when I have the energy.

Every day is a good day not to drink.

I will not use today because it's too expensive and I have better things to spend my money on.

I will not drink today because I like myself sober so much better than my drinking self.:)

I will not drink today because I love my life and all the people in it!
