I will not drink/drug today because...

...I haven't managed to lose total control

of my limbs...so as long as I don't shove toxins uncontrollably in my face...I'm good to go

I will not drink today cause sober is the new normal for me.

and the hangovers are a big reason not to drink also...

Because when I allow other people to drive me to drink I'm making excuses, and bad ones at that. I hate bad excuses for bad behavior when other people do it!

I will not drink today for several reasons: first, because I take better care of my dogs sober; second, cause I love feeling sober and clear headed; and last but not least, because I can't 'afford' to drink, in any sense of the word. The price is too high...

It isn't worth it. Today, I have to much respect for myself and the new life I have built. I can't go back to what I was, what I had become. I won't! My life is to valuable to throw it all away for a drink.
