So sorry to hear your news Alera, it's a tragic reminder that life is short and uncertain and we owe it to ourselves and our loved ones to live as well as we are able.

I hope you have a lot of support around you at this terrible time x

Quick check-in. Had a rough exam today. Harder than the last one, which I thought was the hardest test I've ever taken. Glad it's over. I was musing about the fact that even just a year ago I would have been high last night, taken the test today, and probably had a beer as soon as I got home, "because I need to relax after that exam." Tonight I'm eating stew.

It's going to work out.

I hate those exams gneiss. The stew sure sounds good. My cousin is having a memorial next week, and I'd love to go. However, its open bar and I'm not going to drive seven hours to watch people get loaded to "celebrate" the life of another. I doubt most of the stories told will make much sense by the end of the second hour anyway.
