5 Months!!!! I honestly have a hard time believing it. This last month probably has been the most difficult for me. Mood swings, cravings, motivational issues....but ya know what....Im glad I have made it this far and I am thankful for each day that I am not killing myself and hiding behind a bottle. Wonder whats next? lol

Sobriety at its best...
Hi vividSerenity,
Way to Go!!!! I remember my first year of struggles...I went to a meeting every day the first year...this time I was determined to make it and now I have 20 years of Sobriety + help for my Major Depression/Anxiety for 20 years.
Don't let these years scare you....I started them just like you are doing & I made it because I wanted Sobriety more than anything else in my life. I had been diagnosed with depression/anxiety as a teen but when I was 20 & got married I quit my medication so I could drink with my husband...at that time it was sharing a six pack of beer. :ghug2
I sobered up once and then had a 14 year relapse before I hit my bottom.
I wish you all the best & remember this Sobriety is for You!
