So I went out hiking. 13 miles. And I've been wanting to get a pic of an armadillo for bloody ages. And I found one, he didn't run off. I grabbed my camera, told my dog to sit and be quiet (which, by some miracle, she did), got my perfect picture set up quickly, the armadillo stood up on his hind legs and sniffed the air then went back to foraging... it was perfect!! And then my cell phone rang and scared off the 'dillo. GAH!!!!!
My only recourse is to post this pic I found on Google.
OK, I guess if that's my biggest complaint I must be doing alright. A little confused by the ex today, but then... what else is new? Hahaha.

I've lived in Texas for most of the past 30 years and I've never seen an armadillo except at an armadillo race.... I think they are the ugliest looking creatures! Now possums I think are cute and at my last house I had a "pet" possum that came to visit quite regularly, I even assumed it was a 'she' and named her "Patsy the Possum" and there was a much smaller possum that often traveled with her the I named "Petunia" ...I even wrote a childrens story (not well) titled "Patsy the Possum and her friend Petunia"......I miss them.
Jamdls, that's hilarious. 99% of the armadillos I have seen are dead by the road side. There are tons of them around here though, I see them all the time. Just usually I am in my car and swerving all over the road to keep from killing them. I hit a skunk once and had to send my car to the body shop for a new front fender. I don't want to know what a 'dillo would do to my car!! Tough little buggers.

I'm a big fan of my man(s) (best friend) Droopy.
And that's about how I've been feeling lately...droopy. Stayed around the apartment these past four days and except to hang with the GF across the courtyard...that's been it...Oh yea I did go to an ** meeting on Saturday morning with her...that accounts for something. So in a little bit her and I will get out and run some errands. I need to air out my stale self so I'm going to make the best of it today...anxiety or no anxiety.

Since I started walking every day my beer cravings have vanished. Not only am I not interested, but when beer does cross my mind the next thing I think is, "Too many calories." Whatever works.
Now... if only meth had high calorie content. Hmm....

I decided to turn my 3 day weekend into a 4 day weekend so didn't work today, I ws hoping to sleep alot-only slept 4 hours last night and no so far tonight so my plan isn't working.
I got a check in the mail today from my father, he decided to give us our inheritance now, instead of waiting until he dies. It's not a ton of money, there are 5 kids, but it is equal to half what I make in a year so I'm pretty stoked about it. I just wish I could sleep.
