Fantabulous Secular Connections Check-in Part V
Don't worry "silly goose". We'll win this last game. The Wings are just drawing it out so we actually have a Stanley Cup Victory to enjoy through all the blood, sweat and tears.

My new claw foot bathtub is being delivered tomorrow!!! I'm so excited, of course the bathroom is not ready for it yet so the tub will likely sit in my living room for a week or 2 or 3 but hey at least I can say I have a bath TUB in my house which I havent had for 2 freakin years! I can't wait until I can soak in it ahhhhhhhh

Man, I don't know if I feel welcome here or not, what with all the darn Wings fans here!! Being a Blues fan I rarely have anyone to pull for for very long in the playoffs, but I must ALWAYS cheer against the Dead Things!!! Go Pens!!
On a non-hockey related note...I haven't been around for a good bit of time. As is usually the case, that wasn't a good thing. Been off the pot for almost a month, but back to day one on the booze. I'm kicking around going back to some meetings as I've had a bit of a spiritual awakening of late. Not a religious thing at all, but spiritual, so maybe I should give the rooms another shot. Still love coming back to this board. Good to see a lot of the oldies, DK, Alera, HistoryTeacher, just to name a few I've noticed. Gonna try to stick and stay, for the good times and the bad and maybe actually reach out for help when I need it instead of escaping into my shell. Thanks all.

It's ok Tyler. I'm an Avalanche fan, but for the moment I obviously am cheering for the Pens.
Anyway, still in New Mexico. It's great here, loving the desert. I'll be home Sunday, and as nice as it will be to be home, I don't want to leave! Having too much fun, got my head screwed on straight again and I think life will be ok again.

Yea, I may have started it, but thanks to the many who have kept it alive in my absence. This forum was still in it's infancy when I left. It's great to see how it's grown!! I see quite a few old faces and a lot of new one's and I'm glad that the bickering and in-fighting that doomed previous incarnations of a Secular forum have been kept in check. Glad to be back, working on day 2, planning on sticking around this time.
Looking forward to seeing more of you Tyler.
We do try to keep the bickering down to a minimum. Not that I always catch it but... the folks here are pretty good at letting me know when a thread starts to get out of hand.
