Fantabulous Secular Connections Check-in Part V
I had such a blucky day that I took tomorrow off and declared it an "all ice cream, every meal" kinda day.
I guess the good news is, making it a "drunk from waking til passed out" day never occurred to me=)

Hi Peeps! I had an awesome day yesterday! Heard from a an old drinking buddy who wanted advice on staying sober!!! My son-in-law is supposed to get started today on remodeling my bathroom; the sun is shining; I had a good nights sleep; Life is good! The "all ice cream day" sounds great to me even for a good day!

I'm still here. I kinda liked it though, I didn't say much and I got a few messages. So thanks!! I've been out trespassing for a few days. Haha. I found some old abandoned buildings, so I crawled under the fences and explored. It was fun!
So those are the buildings I saw today.
I've seen dogs and cats with the laser eye thing in photos but somehow it's just creepier on a cow!
I had a good time out there, anyway.

We all know there are worse addictions than sports!
I like sports where there is offense and defense. Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey. Golf is not a sport. It's a recreation. Now if you could run out there and try to stop the other person's shot, that could work.
Having said that, you can take it to extremes. Like soccer. Too much defense not enough offense for my taste.
Hey, how about a nice hockey game between the Seculars and the Believers? Of course we'd have to have agnostic referees just to be fair.

gneiss, that cow pic is hilarious. It looks possesed...you know, in the movie kind of sense.
Oh, my. Funny stuff at SC today.

Love the pics Gneiss! I've always been fascinated by old falling down buildings they just make you want to explore.
I don't watch sports, when I was married my ex watched ALL sports ALL the time and he'd usually be reading a book and drinking at the same time so forget about having a conversation! so when he left I swore I'd never watch sports again.

Thanks to everyone for the comments about my pictures! Gotta go find some other place to trespass now. See you all later!

checking in - I'm new here, glad to have found the resource! I'm just fresh out of a return to aa that lasted just short of two weeks and feel better when I don't go. It's good to know that there are secular resources out there!

Thanks bamboozle, and not to steel the thread, my intention was not to bash aa, as I have many friends there - it's just that in the last 3 years my belief system has changed so much that I feel better when I don't go. I have to have a secular approach for my life. I still meet my buds for friday nite dinners though....
