Reading Anthony Keidis' book "Scar Tissue"

Even though he's a 12 stepper the book is pretty cool. That boy sure did have a way with the ladies. Hundreds....dang. He also shot a lotta blow and skag. Pretty cool if you were around for the punk years as lots of people are mentioned include Bob Forest (of the and Thelonius Monster and also that weird-looking redhead counselor dude on Celebrity Rehab). It's worth a read.

A while back I read "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey. He certainly didn't like the 12 steps, even though he was forced to try them. The book was good.

LOL, WTF is that about?? Apropos of nothing at all to do with the thread subject you bring up James Frey just because he "didn't like 12 steps"?

Incidentally -

A Million Little Lies - January 8, 2006

Thanks for the recommendation Windy.

There are some great stories in there. I got to meet those guys when they were recording Mother's Milk in that big haunted mansion in the hills. My wife and I got to hang with them and listen to the album. All were very cool and very nice. The release party was a few days later and let me tell you it was nuts. Very fun, very nuts. Ah, them was the days.

Ah the Hollywood clubbing daze...Great times of unruly blitzness...I was young and could dance...slam dance LOL that is...Hahahahaha dancing! I learned all my dance moves from Iggy and his Detroit concerts...god I'm old...MC5 old skool old.

And let that not be any disparaging reflection on me as a Frankie Yankovic super fan.
