Be conscious of what you say and how you say it.....
Just wanted to share this....
I am not sure if any of you have heard of the Masaru Emoto rice experiment....
heres how it works......
You cook some rice and separate the rice into two containers and put lids on them. You then label the rice..one with some kind word(s) and one with hateful word(s). Each day spend a few moments visiting each separate container and thinking and feeling and talking about whatever the jar says.
Watch how the rice in the hate jar decomposes early and the "nice" rice will retain normal attributes for much longer.....
Here are a few videos of different people doing the experiment........
Just think..if we can affect rice in such a way....how much are we affecting others with our thoughts and words......

No kidding and thank you for posting this. I do try to choose my words carefully, as words are very powerful. I do believe this comes from an undergraduate in communications and an MBA in marketing. But I confess I do grow weary of all this self-monitoring. It's exhausting to suppress what one really thinks. Nonetheless, I always try to frame my thoughts in a way that is respectful to others, but there are the occasional moments in which I remember someone who slammed me (first) and I admit to having less patience and tolerance than I would like. Meh, I am only imperfect and human. At any rate, excellent thread and thank you.

I wonder if the experiment will work with rice I cook, maybe the nice jar would have fluffy non-sticky rice and the other jar have my normal sticky over cooked in it (cant see how much worse that rice could get)
I just want to let y'all know that when you cook jambalaya, etouffe, or any other Louisiana dish which calls for rice you MUST use Uncle Ben's Long Grain Rice. There is NO other rice that'll work.
Okay, sorry, I had to get that out.
