Are we talking Carl Sagan here? Because aside from his haircut, I LOVE Cosmos.

But then, I'm a nerd anyway... :D

Yeah, Carl Sagan. Hulu has the whole first season available for free. I don't have cable either. I use my computer to watch shows.

Cosmos is a great series. I remember watching it in the very early 80's. It is still captivating to this day. Cosmos is order. Chaos to Cosmos.................:corn

Endzoner....I've been to the Cosmos! It was years ago, but I was quite impressed. :P

There's just something about Carl Sagan's voice. He could tell me my dog died, Abe Lincoln was a liar, and SR was being discontinued, and his voice would still soothe me.

Never seen this particular series but i totally love all kinds of science shows...

I'm currently really enjoying all the evolution stuff that's on, what with it being 150 years since "origin of species" was published.

Everyone should see Cosmos (at least) once in their life. You can watch the intro here. It was released in 1980 and is definitely a classic.

I'm also enjoying the science programming at the moment. I really have no problem with anyone's religious beliefs but living in the Bible Belt and studying paleontology... wow. Gets pretty interesting sometimes! I suppose it would be more fun if I didn't end up in the same conversation repeatedly with different people.
