Just read the one article there...reminds me of how the Rolo May book on freedom and destiny changed my life in so many ways when i got sober back in 85....reread it last year...I highly recomend it to anyone struggling with the responsiblity/disease thing.....

Most diseases can be seen as having some personal responsiblity part in them if we choose...diabedis, cancer, aids,....society goes through phases of blaming the victim on these things as if a person who behaved properly would never get the disease, and then swings to the idea that there is no responsiblity for the ilness getting it or dealing with it....

Seems to me the answer lies in the middle ground and rollo mays book gave me a framework to sort through and develop stratageis without all the guilt trip or self pity stuff....

just random thoughts.
