Thanks to all of y'all for putting a big smile on my face (and making me giggle!). I knew I could get this off my chest here in Secular and get calm, level-headed responses. Thank you for that.
And just for the record, I'm not GOING anywhere... god, I'm so addicted to this site it's crazy
but the last 3 or 4 days I've mostly been lurking because I feel like I might step on a land mine. I understand what you mean about it being cyclical. I've noticed it on other social sites in the past so hopefully it will settle down here soon. I'll be here, though. If you don't see me actively posting, just drop me a message!
I'm off to have some Indian food for lunch! YUM! Back in a bit.

I feel like I owe it to the BBC to watch the original version of the Office, since I love the U.S. one so much, but I've just never done it. Besides, aren't all the characters' names different? LOL And I think they ended theirs after only 3 seasons. The U.S. Office just got renewed for 2009 - 2010 so I'm very excited! (That's what she said!)

Yeah, you'll find quite a few agnostic and atheist types around here, but there are also several members who frequent the secular section who have religious beliefs. It's all good.

I think the important thing to do in times of flux - and I agree this is a time of flux - is to take what you need and leave the rest, if I can borrow that.
There's always good people and good support and advice around TSH. Just ignore the knuckleheads. Use PMs and post in safe places (like here) if you need to
