Spectacular Connections Check-in Part II
Nope, it's free!
We don't have any TV reception out here and don't want to pay for cable, so I have found ways to watch many things for free online. Hulu and Joost are my 2 regulars.

They dog atheists as hard as catholics, but this is a good one too:

This is the best place for me on this site. I know I can talk freely without someone condemning me tp hell or failure.
I don't know who got them to add this section as I an fairly new here but I think DK had a lot to do with it.
Anyways thanks to all that contributed to the creation of this section.
And the rest of us let's keep posting and exchanging ideas so we don't lose this section which is so important in our recovery.

I love South Park too - hilarious stuff! It's on all the time here on the comedy channels...
I especially love the "cartoon wars" episode... But there are so many favourites!
Thanks for understanding everyone - i thought i may have been just not expressing myself well and offending people - not my intention at all!

I agree with Ananda, Spark. we are different over here at this section as far as I can see. We are all opinionated but we respect each other and never try to ram it down each others throats. We may ruffle each others feathers once in a while and that is a small price to pay for honest communication. We are like family over here IMO and that is the best thing about the secular forum.
Hope everyone has a good day today, tomorrow, and if I don't see you Tuesday too.

In my drinking days I used to have a big collection of drinking Tshirts which always got a lot of attention from my fellow boozers.

Hey all - hope you're ok, sorry to hear you're having a bad one nands, hope it improves for ya.
grey and rainy here and i'm feeling a bit lethargic - have my thick skin back on, think i was a bit sensitive and fragile yesterday - blah!
"dry drunk" - it's a rather nasty phrase isn't it? "not one of us" it seems to equate to... Join the collective! You will be assimilated! (thanks for that analogy DK - very apt!)
got my sis and niece visiting today - never liked kids but she is a little sweetheart - must be getting soft in my older years...
The stressy recent times seem to have calmed down and things feel kinda simple and easy going again, i'm glad of that! It was a bit tricky.
Glad this place and all you lot are here, really appreciated being able to chat about stuff and all the support and advice. :ghug

Bam! I HATE that, too! Because it never fails... once I bite my cheek once, it swells up and then I bite it AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and it takes forever to heal. So annoying!!
I'm loopy from lack of sleep, sorry.
Yesterday was an awesome day - little boy's birthday party - and tomorrow is his actual birthday so that will be fun. But today I have a lot to do and I'm feeling down and I'm exhausted so I think I'm going to whine and go back to sleep.
Blah, sorry. I guess I didn't even need to bother posting this.
