Thanks abbadun.

Care to share some principle or concept in particular that you found beneficial from her writing? I'd be interested in learning more and exploring it further.

Hi

Well from her talks on Noble Eightfold Path will focus on two. The right action and the right speech, when I am in conversations like this thread I will not become angry or vindictive, I will just tell what I know.

Thank you, I have a teacher who talks a bit about the Monkey Mind and these links have enlightened me to what he means.

Hi

Another good book is "The Teachings of Buddha" by Paul Carus

He tells Buddha's teaching in a story like way. The book is also thin like "Taming the Monkey Mind" which makes them very portable.
