25 yr old son just relapsed on heroin after being clean for one year. Devastating. Hoping to find help here.

Welcome, Allthatsgood. There is some wonderful info here,as well as very supportive people. I'm sorry to hear about your son. Is the relapse continuing or has he expressed the desire to stop again?

Thank you for your kind words sobery lost.he is trying to find his way. Stubborn about how he will accomplish it but he has many friends in recovery from his sober living home and then some.

That's wonderful, All, that he is at least searching for his way. One thing I've learned here is that recovery sometimes has bumps, and relapses can happen. The most important thing is what happens after the relapse, how willing he is to get clean again and live a sober lifestyle.

I'm just learning all of this, and everyone here has such great knowledge about this. I know they will chime in.
