Discovering secular/agnostic/atheist freethink

I did treatment, which was outsourced to AA, & then AA in my town since September. I have some problems with BB, but not nearly as much as what I see is a distortion of BB in the culture of AA meetings. The BB is not a drag to read. The meetings in my town are painfully repetitive.

Someone suggested agnostic, secular, freethinker, etc. meetings - https://aa-intergroup.org/meetings/?search=agnostic

I find these meetings very different & usually I hear something which I haven't heard before.

I'm also doing an in-person SMART meeting & of course is not 12 steps.

In the agnostic meetings I've attended, I haven't seen a lot of emphasis on 12 steps, and where I have even seen them, it was like a humanist manifesto.

There are many versions of the 12 steps - humanist, buddhist, secular. Just google "alternate 12 steps". There are many.
