New to SR and a non-beliver

Glad this forum is here. Just found it the other day.

I have been having a hard time with sobriety this time around. I had 8 years and faded out of AA, mostly do to the god stuff.

A year ago I found SMART recovery, but only have the online chat. f2f meetings are about an hour away.

We do have a "We Agnostics" AA meeting now and have made that my home group.

I do like the fellowship I had in AA and slowly trying to get that back.

Thanks for allowing me to share

Don't worry about the god stuff. Just follow the PATH:

"Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path."

Welcome, Luke!

I found SoberRecovery to be a great source of perspective on agnostic interpretations of the AA program. I hope to hear more from you!

I just started on the book, 12 step Buddhist. I think it should be a good book. Something more I can get behind.
