Attraction not promotion, right?
I've attended a few of the meetings in NYC from time to time. My experience is that some are more on message than others. That said, I almost always attend, for lack of a better word, "mainstream" meetings.
When I was coming around, there weren't any agnostic or humanist meetings that I was aware of. I consider myself fortunate be in NYC where there was and is enough diversity in the rooms that I was able to find my way.

There are no secular meetings anywhere near where I am; we’re a pious lot. I’d regularly get told there was no way I’d get or stay sober without finding god. I didn't find god, but I dhave stayed sober. Perhaps learning tolerance did it for me
CousinA thank you for the link to that article! It mentioned a secular AA convention in November in Santa Monica which I registered for. So excited to find thisAA alternative method!!

Thank you so much for posting this. I am also excited to hear about the convention in Santa Monica. I plan to register once I find out if I will be working on those days. I will probably at least go on the Saturday.
