How long to stabilise on methadone?

Thanks, it happened when I least expected it, which is how I've quit everything. I've always been making attempts but the actual quit happened out of the blue. This happened for cigarettes (17 years ago), alcohol (7.5 years ago) and opioids (1 and a bit months ago). It just shows that the only real failure is to stop trying.
So I've had no opioids/opiates in my system since the start of December last year - which is something I was never quite sure I'd manage.

Still going along well here. I do feel somewhat flat a lot of the time, but I guess that's part and parcel of quitting my final addiction and actually being sober for the first time in decades. Hopefully my internal spark will re-light at some point in the near future.
My sleeping patterns are a bit weird. I'm trying to re-set them to normal, but I think that'll take some time.
