PAWS Nightmare Hello dear comrades, I am upandabout from New York. I stopped heroin on 2-3-2021. Had a supply of methadone and used less than a tea spoon a day to taper. My last dose was 8-2-2021. The problem is the PAWS. Fatigue, can't sleep and those f'in restless legs at night. Going back is not an option. I am over it, thru, I have done my share. Has anyone been thru it and can advise me how to deal with this? |
no experience to share but I wanted to welcome you to the forum :) D |
Hi upandabout, I had Paws for many months after I quit drinking. It wasn’t at all pleasant, but hang in there…Your body is healing…..however slowly, but healing. Leep coming here for more stories of encouragement and support. :grouphug: |
Thank you. I sincerely appreciate that. |
Hello Dee74. Thank you for the warm welcome. |
Hi upandabout - well done on what you have achieved so far that's amazing - I can relate to the restless legs and lack of sleep - Horrible. Vitamin B12 and 6 are supposed to help plus magnesium. Best of luck with recovery. |
Thank you for the encouragement. I thought the first few days was the worse and it was all down hill from there. Was I wrong. I am going to stay the course. Cannot go back into that madness. |
Dustyfox. Thank you; that is great advice. Going to GNC to pick that stuff up. |
