What is the difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone?

Oxycodone is stronger per mg. Both have the same medical effects. Nothing to play with, today I make 60 days clean of opiates. I am one of the few here that is dealing with opiate addiction , but every one here has been very helpful. We all have a addiction to something and want to better ourselves.

my doctor put me on norcos to relieve this awful pain from sciatica but it's made me constipated. anyone have any suggestions as to what made them 'go' after being on opioids?

Hydration and fiber such as oatmeal. You could use a stool softener but would always check with a doctor. Are you taking as prescribed if so shouldn't be a problem. But if abused could lead to severe constipation.

drinking more water. no appetite so no oatmeal. taking as directed. took some milk of magnesia today and it had the opposite effect.

When I injured my back one of the effects was constipation (I was not using opiates tho).
One of the things that finally got me 'going' after about a week was Coloxyl with senna (Docusate in the US I believe)

Might be worth asking your doctor or pharmacist about it.

I was on liquid Vicodin for 10 months back in 2018. I used generic miralax. No fun for sure.

i certainly do not like norcos. i don't like the woozy feeling, the almost sick feeling in my stomach. and they don't touch the pain. just a tiny little improvement.
