New Start To April
I have now stopped smoking for 2 months, 2 days, 12 hours, 34 minutes, 58 seconds. That translates into 720 cigarettes NOT smoked, for a savings of $270.29!
Is true...but I need to fess up. I had a great time in Atlanta this past week...but yesterday during a layover in Kansas City I was hungry, tired, and wired....no drinking but I picked up two butts off the sidewalk and smoked them which started and ended with two full cigarettes when I got home. I haven't bought a pack and I am committed to absolute nicotine abstinence. I went back on the Chantix I have about a month left. The puff did set up the following smokes and only by getting sleep, eating, taking all my meds, and recommitting to today have I stopped. So I am going to keep my counter going since I didn't buy a pack. Need to stay close to my support and what has worked.

Gregory - Free and Healing for Two Months, Eight Days, 14 Hours and 23 Minutes, while extending my life expectancy 2 Days and 13 Hours, by avoiding the use of 744 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me $279.62.

good to be back on track....went back on Chantix after using it for 2 months, then not for a week, so back on it for 3 days. Doing much better with it this time around because I'm not drinking alcohol, and overall 100% more healthy.

Good day to be free from nicotine. Many mornings have slight urges that last but a few seconds. It bugs me more than anything, irritating, but I have ingrained the thinking action to recognize it and let it go.
Beautiful spring day today. I might treat myself to a milkshake later. I have an appointment at the VA concerning my diabetes.

Doing well this morning but nicotine and cigarettes have been right in my face since smoking dreams this morning, to as I was getting fresh air someone yelled out if I wanted one, to as I was talking with a smoker another smoker came up and interrupted our conversation and asked her for a cigarette. Surfing SR, playing board games, listening to sporting news. Some sun ---broken clouds--good morning to walk downtown to my appointment. Starting a new thread soon see if more SR members and visitors would post.
