Things that worked for me:
Download a quitting app: I use cessation nation the free version
Journaling: doesn't have to be anything fancy just write down your thoughts, inspirations, struggles, etc. related to smoking each day. Or post them here and check in at the end of each day.
Nicotine substitutes: the goal is to move away from nicotine dependence but you're also addicted to the "act" of smoking so sometimes you have to choose your battles. Any day without a cigarette is still a victory. I vaped on the second day and was able to do cold turkey after that
Get physically active: vent your frustration through a workout
Tell people: this was important for me.. tell the people you usually smoke with that you're quitting, no matter what, and you'd appreciate it if they wouldn't try to persuade you to join them
Good luck and keep us posted

Thank you. I have to work and study all the time so the only thing that I struggle with the is the ability to concentrate/focus. But it is just time to quit.
I have a journal now and I will download the app. Exercising is a good idea. Thank you for posting what worked for you!

Thank you for the article.
I went running/walking this morning and I then drank a lot of water and ate strawberries.
I'm really doing a complete overhaul of my diet. No smoking, no soda, no fast food. Water, fish, chicken, vegetables, and fruit.
I will be three years sober in five days and it is time that I move forward in my health/wellness.
